It is true!!! We LOVE kids and our goal is to introduce them to their Heavenly Father in fun and creative ways. We also want to give you a chance to take a break and listen to the plans God has for your life. That is why we offer great environments for kids from birth through 6th grade every Sunday. Below is a description of what you can expect on a Sunday morning.
Intermediate
(4th - 6th grade)
Character counts! This is our overall message to kids each and every week. God has wired us to display certain character traits we like to call virtues and each week we highlight one of three big ideas...
- God has created these virtues and exemplifies it Himself.
- God instills the virtue in us as He shapes us to become more like Him
- God uses the virtues in us to influence and impact our families, friends, and neighbors.
Our hope is, as others notice these virtues in our lives, we have opportunities to tell them about God.
Elementary
(1st - 3rd grade)
Based upon what the children have been taught in Early Childhood and Luke 2:52, Elementary Ministry strives to instill three basic truths: faith, wisdom, and friendship. These truths prepare kids for further learning in Intermediate Ministry and serve as a lifelong foundation for a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Faith: Kids should know they can trust God no matter what!
Wisdom: We think kids should always make the wise choice... a Godly choice.
Friendship: Its simple, we should treat others the way we want to be treated.
Early Childhood
(Birth - Kindergarten)
Children are a gift from God!!! We believe they are some of the smartest, most creative, and most energetic creatures on the planet. They are some of the most impressionable too! That's why we want to give them an accurate first impression of their loving Heavenly Father. We do this by teaching these three BIG ideas.
